Henry Dekyem
Henry Dekyem, local manager of Live Now Foundation, introduces himself
"I'm looking forward to volunteers coming to Live Now Foundation to help improve the agricultural business in Tinkong so that we can have better harvest and more food for the people in Tinkong."
I was born in Akim Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana, a town not that far from Koforidua, but during most years of my life I've lived in Koforidua.
I have been working with an international organisation called Projects Abroad for many years, being assistent-coördinator in Mamfe, in the south of Ghana, and later also in Cape Coast. Doing this I gained much experience working with international volunteers and interns.
Near the Live Now project in Tinkong I also own 6 hectare land on which I cultivate cassave and corn. I would love volunteers to help me improve my farming business.
I'm a dedicated Arsenal fan and play football myself every early Saturday and Sunday morning.
